¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ

University Vice Provost at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and founding dean of Katz College of Science and Health, with 27 years of academic leadership in faith-based, private, and public universities. Works with across the academy on academic strategy, faculty scholarship, teaching, and student success.

As Vice Provost, works across ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s schools on strategic planning, research priorities, undergraduate-to-graduate pathways, and academic initiatives. As founding dean, built Katz into four academic divisions and 13 programs, recruiting tenure-system and clinical faculty. With faculty and academic leaders, developed graduate and doctoral education, research facilities, shared governance, assessment, and professional accreditation in STEM and health sciences.

Led work to expand academic programs and student opportunities while strengthening faculty research and student support. Katz students have achieved strong retention, licensure, and employment outcomes. Also works with faculty on general education, liberal arts pathways, teaching and learning, and cross-school academic programs. Academic growth and financial sustainability support the University’s educational mission.

Research examines trust and behavior in online communities, technology management, and applications of AI to health and society. Recent work includes a 2026 article in the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, two forthcoming edited volumes, and international conference leadership.
